TGIF????

yes it is.....wooooohoooooo. even though we have to work to tomorrow at least it is on day closer to Sunday. Just had a few extra minutes this morning to write that and wish every one a fabulous day. I hope we are able to bail out Wall Street with our tax dollars... what a bunch of bullshit!!!!!!! Bail yourselfs out you bunch of arrogant ignorant assholes.....

Thursday..........

Today is Thursday...which means tomorrow is???? Friday...not for all of us. I haven't blogged a lot lately, so I apologize for that. Work has been busy and hectic. You all know how that goes sometimes. Or maybe all the time. We have been working 10 hour days and some 11 hour days. Which for a few of us are completely physical the entire time. So by the time I get home I shower, have a couple of beers, each dinner, hang out with Thess, and then go to bed. Just in time to get some much needed rest and then get up and do it all over again. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just mental fatigue or just physical fatigue, but when it is a combination of the two...yeah it wears you out and drains you. I guess that comes with age though. I hope all my readers haven't given up on me. I do try to write something ever chance I feel I have, I just haven't had a lot of time lately. Everything is going well for me. I heard again from someone I work with, that some day I am going to make a great foreman...we'll see if it ever happens!!!!

Tuesday.......Sept. 23, 2008

Well, here we are, once again beginning the adventures of yet another week of our life. Another step closer to whatever it is that we are try to get to and another day closer to getting us to where we are going. But, Who knows where we are going or if we will ever get there. Thanks to all you who watched the boys for me on Saturday...Thess informed me that everything went very well with them. As I do every day of the week, it is time for me to get ready for work.

Thursday.....

Yep, it is already Thursday... this week has gone by very fast already. I guess I do have to work Saturday, so the week isn't over yet. Nevertheless it has still gone by fast. I hope all is well in Yourville. Just a short little something tonight.

One day until "hump day"

First of all I would like ot thank my sister Leah for her comments these past couple of days. Thank you...Leah! Yeah...wow has it been hot the past two days. At least at work, at least when your doing something physical at work. Thess and I let Yetta outside this evening while we were eating dinner on the back porch and she did really well. She wondered off a couple of times to the neighbors and outside of the fence, but came back eat time with in a couple of minutes. So, she is getting some good outside time and learning her surrounding a little bit. Things are going well for me and this week is already almost over...my positive side speaking.

Made it through another Monday......whooohoooo. Yeah it was pretty nice weather this weekend and I sure hope every was able to enjoy it. I was on some what of a secret mission this weekend, although that's just the way I try to keep it. I had a great time and had a blast. Went to Whidbey Island...wow what a beautiful place to go see. You should all go there just to look and drive around that little island. It is quite nice. And seems to be at its own pace not the rush...rush like the main land.


Hey!!!! it is great to have Thess home. Of course all you fans out there (family) already know that and I am sure have felt the same way. She has apple and pears in a dehydrator on the counter, she has made beans and rice. She says she knows how to make tortillas...we'll see about that. YETTA....(Thess's little kitten) is some what of a dillusional individual, which makes her quite entertaining for most of the night. You never know where she is going to strike from, but she does always seem to strike and pounce. BLAH....BLAH....BLAH..... Time to get going to work. Ya'll take care now ya hear........

Friday......

Well...well...well...Here we are on another Friday morning. Getting ready for work and damn am I excited. This week has almost been to hot. I am not complaining about the weather, just don't want to work in it. I do believe Thess and Sue made it home last night. I havent' seen Thess yet, I was fast alseep when she got home last night and she was polite enough not to wake me up. Any way time to get ready for another wonderful day at work.

Just another little thought...I talked to Jackson the other night and asked him how first grade was going. Last year he never wanted to go to school and didn't really like it much. When I asked him the other night his response was..."it's awesome." It is such a good feeling to hear him say that. He has a male teacher, who I believe is the junior high football coach, and he seems to really like him. Every other day they have library or P.E., they alternate every other day. When ever he has library day, he actually sounds excited about getting to pick out books. Well, that was just a little update on Jackson experience in first grade so far.

Sunday......

Damn it......I have to work tomorrow! It was a short weekend or should I say...it was a day off. This past week was very crazy and stressful at work. My foreman was gone for the week and so once again the least experienced guy on the crew (me) was in charge. With that stressing me out we had about two weeks worth of work to get done in four days. We got it done, but had to work, some long and gruelling days. Then of course, I got in trouble for working to many hours because they don't like to pay that much overtime. My opinion....to F...ing bad, if you want it done and you tell me it has to get done...it's going done. Even if i have to work the crew 12 or more hours a day....I am going to get it done. If you don't like it don't tell me it has to be done. Just tell me to work 8 or 10 hours a day and get as much as we can.
So as far as all that goes, I spend most of the day today relaxing. I work on figuring out all the time and equipment we used for the past week and looking at plans that I have gotten for the next job we are going to next Monday. One of the guys I have worked with informed me that one of the reasons this company doesn't like to give out to much overtime is probably because there are bonuses for the foreman at the end of the year and percentages for the superintendents after each job is finished. So the more they can have us do in the least amount of time the more money they all make. I don't know it that is the real truth, but if it is....I have now problem working as much as I have to to get the job done. Screw them and their bonuses and percentage checks. If you want it done, I gonna make some money to get it done. Any way that is about it from me for today and tonight.
