just another monday...

Hello readers,

I would first like to start this out with a moment of silence for a family member who has past on much before his time. ......(moment of silence). I was informed Saturday day by my sister that my father's step-brother Mr. Bob Ticci past on. Like my mother has commented in the past "life isn't fair." He was far to young and never even had a chance to allow us all to say that he battle brain cancer, because he didn't. If I am not mistaken from the day we found out he had it until the day we found out that he past on it was only about two weeks. Hardly not enough time to even begin to battle. I don't remember a whole lot of him in my life, but the two things I know for sure is that he was quiet and one of the softest spoken guys around. My thoughts go out to Grandma whom has endured much loss in the past three years. We all Love Grandma. And to you Uncle Bob we will remember you and WE ALL LOVED YOU AS WELL.
Why is it that such nice people who keep to themselves and just go though life living have to be taken from us prematurely. I can't express my thanks to you mom and dad for letting me know when he was over there, only a month ago. I am glad that I got to see him, although brief, I did. My kids had a chance to meet him and he got a chance to meet them. As short and brief as it was, and if none of them remember it, I know that I will. And I know that you (mom and dad) will as well. It was you that gave the three of them a chance to have there lives intersect at that time.
I will end with one more moment of silence for all those who we have loved and still do love deeply.....(moment of silence) We love you all!!!!!!
Yes, I did speak for all of us......

Seth, you expressed some great thoughts in your "eulogy" to Bob. He was a very gentle person. I feel so bad for Helen, she's been through so much. She's seems to be such a strong person, but you can only deal with so much. I think that if she gets back to AZ her friends will comfort her, encourage her and pamper her a bit-I hope.
I really am trying to remind myself everyday that this could be my last day, and how would I want it to be. No matter what I'm doing I'm going to try to make the absolute most of it.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Love, Connie
