tuesday......

Hello everyone,
Father, I got you message last night. Sorry, I put the books in the drop this morning on my way to work.
Any way things are go well on the West side of Olympia this evening. I heard on the news that there had
been some cougar siting over here by "a" safeway. The only safeway I could think of on the West side is the one by the house here. They said it was on ninth, I think, so maybe there is another one.
That was exciting to hear. Can't blame those cats, we keep moving in on them and they really have no
place to go except right into our back yards. It really is sad, but what can you do. There are simply to many people. Maybe we should be more like China, and only allow people to have one child, if it is a boy.
Sounds far out there, but how else are you going to control population. It has appeared to me that, maybe just maybe China may be on to something. They seem to be smarter, (overall) and I think they have been dealing with the problems that we have right now. They saw it coming a long time ago and were smart enough to
try to solve it. It might not hurt us to listen and learn, whether it is from China or some other country, we don't always have to be right. Just like everyones boss who has to have it done "his" way no matter what.
Even if there are a thousand others ways to do it, that will work just as well or sometimes even better, but his way is the only way. That's us....The Good Old U.S. of A.......holes

I totally agree on population control, somehow, though I would take issue with only males, that's not generally the kind of world (all males) that I'd long to live in. Limiting children and focusing on the quality of life for everyone as well as the health and longevity of the planet is a good idea. I'm not interested in genetic selectivity or permits to have children. Oh wait how about kid credits. I don't want any, so you can have my kid credit. You can run the numbers and figure what the population growth would be based on 1 new person per couple/single. Anyway. It takes everyone to fix it, and that's hard for populations that can't afford not to have additional free help, or populations that simply can't make it possible because of cost or technology.

And unfortunately there are also those who believe that they should have kids and those others shouldn't. That thinking occurs at all levels.
