Where Have I Been.....

Dear Readers,

I really am still here and I am doing just fine. I didn't realize that it had been almost a week since my last blog. So I better get my ass in gear and get to blogging again.
My week was pretty good overall. There were a few days that were a little stressful and difficult to make it through, but I did and by the end of the week things seemed to turn out ok. Next week we are supposed to being going to another job up by the airport, so the commute once again is going to be a little longer, but at least we still have work. Hopefully one of these days we will be authorized to work as much overtime as we want to. This company is more into the dirt work (roads, building pads) and they allow the "dirt crews" to work 60 hours a week. The "pipe crews" for some reason we get held to 40 and no more. Unless we can justify a reason to do a little more at the end of the day. Our superintendent, Benny, has been lobbying for the pipe crews to work 10 hour days, so we can at least get a little overtime. He knows that this is the time of year that most people are working lots of overtime and getting their hours, because come winter, there are always layoffs and the work always slows down. So, maybe here on this next job, we will get some good overtime.
Yesterday, was a wonderful day. It was a beautiful and sunny day. I had a great visit with mom and dad, leah and james, sue and becky, keith, sean and kate and sylvia. We went down to lakefair so dad could get a corndog and he did. It was a nice walk down and a nice walk back up to the house. Thanks for a great visit and a great day everyone.
Leah introduced us to the third and final part of DR. HORRIBLES SING ALONG. We watched all three part, very good writing. How come more people don't understand good writing when it is presented in such great form. There should be a series for Dr. Horrible. Maybe there is and I just don't know about it.
Well, back to my coffee and just tinkering around. If I get into, to good of a mood, I will have to read a few pages out of "The Prosecution of George W. Bush For Murder." If I feel like I need to get a little fired up about something, just a few lines read out of that book and I am pissed. Have a good one everyone that reads this.

Always Sincere,

Seth "just me" Fenner

Of course I am awash in envy that ya'll are having such a good time.
But I have been packing a little and making a "to toss" pile and a "to yardsale" pile of stuff. It's actually going well. My plan is to take a very small u-haul and NOT fill it to the top, just take the stuff I really want ('cause really what do I NEED ?:p)
Anywhoo.
