Yep....it is Sunday already. Wow!!! Gabby took me to a wine bar last night up in Tacoma for a late birthday dinner. Pour at Four was the name of it. The first wine bar I have been to, it was very nice and really fun. Sample some three Syrah's and then had a couple of glasses of L'Ecole No. 41 (Merlot). The food was extremely fantastic. Although, of course, the portions weren't huge, we both filled up on some very good appetizers. A cheese dish that had three different cheese...a chedder (from England) , Allgauer Bergkase (A hard Germany cheese similar to swiss), and Buche "Maitre Seguin" (a soft spreadable cheese made from goat's milk from France). The cheeses were served with green olives, crispy flat bread and baquette bread. With this we had a hot baked salmon dip served with baguette and crab stuffed mushrooms also served with baguette. For, a meal I had some fabulous crab cakes and Gabby had a pasta dish with shrimp, scallops, fresh tomatos and fresh mushrooms. It was all unbelievable tasty.
So, if any one wants to have some excellent food and a glass of wine in a small wine bar with a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend trying it.
