Where does the time goooooooooo... I realize our clocks continuesly go around in a circle and tell us
the same thing day after day, but what really happens to all the time that passes us by. To bad you can't recycle that stuff. I thing we all need flux compassidors (spelling?) in our vehicles, then what would
they do to stop....hahahaha!!! They couldn't.
Not a bad week at work this week, slow and a lot of nothingness, but at least we were getting paid for it
and got our 40 hours in. The job in Puyallup is just a slow go of it so far. Lot of big concrete pipe and culverts
with very little space to work in. And limited access on the roads we are working on.
I got off work in time on Wednesday, to go down and take Jack to his football practice. That is tough to watch.
Exciting and fun, it just seems much more competitive then the other sports kids play. He did good, a little
timid and I think afraid to get hurt, but that's Jack. He would rather tell everyone good job after practice,
then worry about hitting them hard. I was proud of him, he did good. He has the same three coaches as his
baseball team did this year, and they are really good with the kids and really good about giving
them encouragement and high fives just on their effort, which is so nice to see. They are competitive and get so at time, but you really do see and hear them telling the kids, "good job" when they are trying, even if
they don't make the play, but give effort and try.
Just got down here from Gabby's this morning and was going to do a few little things around here before heading back up to visit her and help her put here new mail box up.
I really can't do any political ranting any more or bitching about the world since I don't have television, don't get the paper and don't listen to the radio (except the local news every once in a while on my way to work) Makes for a much better life, just not knowing all the crap and b.s. that is going on out there. Then again it also makes for less exciting blogs, but excitement comes in many other forms and those other forms are usually much more important and much more self gratifying.
