An update on some of my more excitingthings in life....yeah right!!!!!!
It is almost sickening to think that as far as the months go we are prenty much half way through another year and it is still raining outside. I listened to it all night and it is actually beautiful sound, when you don't have to work the nest day. I have even opened my window jsut enough to really enjoy the sound of it. Kind of like one of the nature tapes, only much better.
New Flash...we are going to the job in Vancouver, starting the 8 or the 14 not yet sure, but one of the next two mondays. They are supposed to be renting a house with an rv hook up for us to stay in, not quite sure what kind of house, if it has any furnishing or not...kind jsut have to see what the hell we are in for. Should be interesting 8 construction workers, and everyone of us know everything, so it should be interesting.
Saturday I went up to Gabbys and loaded all the junk that she had torn apart in her back yard and took it to the dump for her, and then hung out there with the dogs and watching Daria and The Critic until she got home from work, then we had a nice dinner, some broccoli, some texas toast, and some crab/shrimp raviolies with alfredo sauce. Then it was off to the frozen yogurt store for some non fat frozen soft serve yogurt. A private owned one that is excellent, the guy that owns it makes all his flavors and the are changing as he comes up with them, the inside decor is so welcoming and comfortable as well.
Yesterday, (Sunday) I finally just weeded and mowed. I was hoping for a dry day so I didn't have to unplug the mower by hand every past across the lawn, but I don't think that was going to be my luck for a while and It was time to mow. So I spend aabout three hours, mowing and weed eating and cutting down abunch of blackberry bushes and pulling weeds. The grass is getting so nice and dark green and thickening up nicely. Of course since it was raining, I fertilized and seeded again. Gotta take advantage of the rain for something since it doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
Thess and I did go down to The Breadpeddler for a cup of coffee and a treat, then to Grocery Outlet, then to Goodwill, and the to Big Lots...we had a good relaxing time.
Now for the biggest news of all, the most exciting thing that I have ever planned in my life, or I should say that some one has invited me to do with them, and the best part about it is that is is Gabby that has done it. She planned a trip to Disneyworld...yes World not Land. and she has already purchased everything as a package deal. Staying on the compound in the Pirates fo the Carribean themed hotel, (i think that is the one she picked), tranportation to and from the airport and the hotel to the theme park, meals and tickets all included. We leave December 2nd and come back on the 6th. Exciting...I have never done a real vacation like that before and she has been wanting to do this for a year now, so she did it. Should be a blast, and a good time of year where, I am guessing it won't be to busy.
There you have it an update on the past week for me...I hope everyone out there has a wonderful week coming up and I will be blogging.......Peace and Love... to all except the man...nothing but anger and intelligent questions for the man to answer, if he can. No political spin allowed....is that possible. Can the man answer a question with out a spin.....most people may not know this but there is a law on the books of every political agency from local to state to federal....this law states...no person or persons running for a political position or currently holding a polictical position shall answer any question, no matter the content, directly. Those who do answer a question in a direct manner without any attempt to spin the question or redirect it, will find themselves caught up in a scandal and forced to step down from their particular political position or will not be re-elected no matter the popular photo. Ballots will be stuffed...and results tampered with. This information is well known to those who are in politics, but is kept from us, the general public.

Glad to hear about your exciting trip in Dec.
And the cynic in me agrees with your evaluation of politician answers. – j
