Sunday....MAY 16, 2010

Hey Y'all....
What a beautiful weekend we are having. Sun and warmth...that is way no matter what any one else says, this is a good state to live in. Besides what do "They" know. Not nearly as much as I do..ahahaha
Work was good last week. We got job down in Vancouver, close to Portland which we may end up going to. That is sort of the word we have heard. I don't mind at all because I will be the closest one to the job for once. HAHAHAHA. It will still be a bit of a drive but at least the rest of them will be an hour more than me. Makes me laugh. Although with my luck they will pay for housing now that I am the closest, which will be bullshit, but I guess okay cause I'll get it too.
Yesterday was an awesome baseball game. No hits for jack, he walked two or three time and stroke out once...BUT...he played catcher and did an amazing job and also said that he really like play that position. First time all season, and it worked out really good for the other position players. His team one and they played the top team in their league. The other time was much bigger and they were all 11 and 12 year old, Jacks team is all 8 and 9. The handed them their first lose and it was a incredible. It came down to the last inning and we scored to win by one. I was so excited for him specifically because of how he played his position so well and hustled like i have never seen. My hope is that the coach will let him play catcher more because he liked it and he did awesome. It also worked out good for Jordan he is the normal catcher and played shortstop for the game. He did excellent at shortstop, which is one of the positions that jack plays. It was a perfect trade off, Jordan is a better fielder and covers the bases better at shortstop then Jack, but jack is faster at getting the missed balls and getting the ball back to the pitcher without any bad throws. So from my perspective they should stay in those position until something really goes wrong...but then again I am not the coach. Just a dad who something on the field that worked really good for the team and especially for those two players.
Three hours of weeding this morning, mowed and weedeated yesterday...starting to look good again. I love it when I have the drive for yard work. I do like a good looking yard.
