Well, lets see.... this past week was pretty good. We worked nights up in Smokey Point. There is no way I could have driven that during the day when there is all the traffic. Working at nights, we missed most of the traffic both ways, but is was still a gruelling drive afte r working 10 hours. We are supposed to be done with that...again for now. Heading to the Sodo district in Seattle for our next job starting tomorrow. Hopefully that will go well and keep us busy through the winter.
So with that said the sleep this past week was very minor, about four hours each morning when I got home. I actually stayed at Gabby's, it would have been all I had to stay awake for another 35 miutes to get home. I don't know if I would have made that.
Go the boys on Friday afternoon, Luke had a good soccer game on Friday night and made two goals. We came home and I made them a nice dinner. Alfredo sauce on penne noodles with some breadsticks with garlic and butter on them. They wanted the olive garden, but since it was too busy, I made it at home for them. We ate at the table, with a candle and had a toast and cheered our glasses to a great dinner and to the 3 of us.
Jack's football game on Saturday morning at 9 was "c..o..l..d.." I think it was about 40 degrees when we got there. They played good and ended up with a tie. That put them in the upper brackett for the playoffs next week. It is tought to see how the coaches don't quite know how to play all the plays and make it fair, but I guess that is just how sports are now days. I still don't understand it though.
We had a great visit at grandma and grandpas after the game. Good sandwiches, apple crisp, cookies from gabby, noodls and salad. It was a great day and good company and wonderful visiting everyone. Thanks to Gabby as always for the wonderful and delicious cookies, and for making the drive down for a short visit.
This morning, watching mouse hunt, drinking coffee, jack is making a bagel with cream cheese for himself and them it is homework and reading time for him.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week out there.
Fall is definitely here, cold nights, chilling crips mornings, the sun is shining but does nothing for the warmth of the body or the house. Grey evening, dark earlier and earlier each day. I see how this makes people depressed. It changes so fast and can really put a damper on a persons mood and mind set. But for what it is worth it is also the holiday season which we all enjoy for various reasons. Some for the true family togetherness it brings to you house or your community or you work. For other is is about the music, the decorations, the candy and presents, the costumes, the turkey and gravy and santa clasue. No matter what is it and who it is we all know...no can deny, that this time of year does something to us all. Mentally, psychologically, and emotionally...we all feel it in some way or another and how we express it reflects upon those around us. So, it is here and we all feel, lets all make the best of it.

Leah has some flannel bed stuff to give away - that stuff is good for winter.
I'm always available for eating Gabby's cookies &tc...and your Caesar salad. (I had to look that up - c-e-a-s-a-r or c-a-e-s-a-r - and change it).
It was great no matter.
thanks - john
